2013 First Meeting Proposal/Agenda

Happy New Year, Committee.  I hope you had a safe and happy festive season with your families.  I just wanted to set a date for an initial 2013 meeting. 

The proposed date is Wednesday, 13th of February, 2013, 7pm  (venue to be confirmed, but, it should be at the Greek Club)

In order to be more productive and help with forward planning, I have put together a proposed agenda for the meeting.  Please review the agenda and bring your thoughts and ideas to the table.  I will need everyone’s support and input this year as I hope to continue the success of 2012 and look forward to another year working with you all.

Proposed Agenda:

• Set an events calendar for 2012
• Proposed date for Annual Dance Saturday, 26th of October, 2013  (to coincide with the name day of our Patron Saint Dimitrios)
• Christmas Picnic – Sunday, 1st of December, 2013  (to be planned along with the dance to minimise the time lag issues we had last year)
• Annual General Meeting – Wednesday, 21st of August, 2013 
• Paniyiri Proposal and feasibility of participating
• Results from 2012 including financials, and the Christmas Picnic
• Review of 2012
• Introduction of a new committee member (by vote)

Please be aware that these are all proposed dates and activities and each individual item will be discussed and voted upon.  Bring your own thoughts and ideas and if you have alternative options let us know on the night.

I will confirm the date closer, but, wanted to give you a head start.
